About ADP & Longdale
For 2018-19 season:
- U8 ADP will be formed with players born in 2011.
- U9 Travel will be formed with players who were born in 2010.
- U10 Travel will be formed with players born in 2009.
Our Longdale facility is the home to our Advanced Development Program (ADP), U9 Travel and U10 Travel players. This beautiful facility is an all-grass, fenced in park with a clubhouse, restrooms, and a coaching education room. Over 200 players play and train at the Longdale youth development center on a weekly basis!
The objective of the training at the Richmond Strikers is to provide our youngest players with an environment that promotes learning, creative thinking, problem solving, skill development and love for the game in an age appropriate soccer environment. The program will be run under the leadership of Erwan LeCrom, Director of Youth Development.
The Advanced Development Program (ADP) is the transition between the recreational side and the travel side. The ADP program offers the opportunity to be exposed to a better soccer environment that will enhance a young player's skills and his or her approach to the game.
The U8 ADP is a year-long developmental programs (Fall Season: August through November; Winter Training: January/February; Spring Season: February through May).
