Juli Liebig Hired as Richmond Strikers Lacrosse Goalie Specialist

Richmond Strikers Lacrosse is pleased to announce that Juli Liebig has joined the staff as Goalie Specialist. Liebig comes to Strikers after serving two years as the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) where she helped to build a brand new NCAA Division III program into a conference contender, winning the Southern Athletic Association conference title in the program's first season. Recruiting players from across the nation, Liebig contributed to Rhodes' first-ever appearance in an NCAA National Tournament.

Prior to Rhodes College, Liebig spent two seasons as an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach and Sports Performance Coach at Washington College (Chestertown, MD). Liebig helped lead the team to two Centennial Conference tournament appearances and set a team record by earning the most regular season victories in program history.

In addition to her assistant coaching responsibilities at Rhodes and Washington College, she served as the goalie specialist for both schools. Liebig also worked for Queener Goalie Academy, where she was able to share her passion for the position with girls of all ages.

Liebig graduated from Longwood University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (with a concentration in Exercise Science). She earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Washington College.

While at Longwood, Liebig served as team captain during her senior year and was named the National Lacrosse Conference's Goalie of the Year twice, while also being selected as all-conference first team for all four years of her college career. She helped her team win back-to-back conference championships as a sophomore and junior and was presented with Longwood's Scholarly Athlete Award. She was named to the 2011 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) University Division Women's Lacrosse First Team.
